NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE IFPA 2025

 

























The main official evening networking events anticipated for the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Anaheim are the organized receptions.  




Based on the preliminary schedule, the following official "cocktail party" style events are anticipated:



• Welcome and VIP Receptions


• Date: Thursday, October 16, 2025  


• This is the major kickoff networking event of the convention, typically included with an All Access Pass. 


 

• Community Receptions


• Date: Friday, October 17, 2025  


• The schedule includes multiple targeted networking events, which may include:


• The Floral Community Reception


• A Retail Awards Reception  


• An Advocacy & Food Safety Reception  

• These community receptions are usually open to anyone with a show badge.  




In addition to the official IFPA events, many individual exhibiting companies host private, elaborate receptions or "happy hours" on the show floor or at local hotels/restaurants.




• For example, one exhibitor has publicly announced plans for an Octoberfest-themed happy hour on their booth on Friday, October 17th, featuring beer, an oompah band, and pretzels.

BLUEBERRY 🫐 INDUSTRY THREATENED ON A GLOBAL SCALE

  While the fungus has predominantly been identified in blueberry plants, the species has been found to infect wheat, hops, grapes, and strawberries plants. The blueberry plant is native to America and is believed to be one of the first edible fruit-producing plants discovered by native people following the last ice age. In addition to being picked and eaten fresh, Native Americans incorporated blueberries into a variety of dishes that include soups, stews, preserves and puddings.
