DAY ONE AT THE 2025 IFPA CONVENTION

IFPA CEO Cathy Burns delivered an excellent state of the industry address to over 1,000 Produce Industry leaders at the opening breakfast followed by a riveting presentation that covered all of the critical issues facing the Fresh Produce industry in 2025.

Subjects ranged from Trump Tariffs to A/I Technology, Labor shortages and ICE RAIDS to lobbying efforts to make food our medicine and reduce the dependence on big pharma.

The fifty minute conversation brought Produce industry leaders up to date on efforts in the past year since the last IFPA event in Atlanta, Georgia in October of 2024.

The presentation left the audience reassured that our leader has a firm grasp on Fresh Produce Industry needs and a roadmap to solve the pressing issues of these turbulent times.

These are not dollhouses … rather they are very effective cubicles for private conversations among perspective customers and a quiet spot to recharge both attendees and their electronic equipment.

Berries and lots of them were on the menu at the inaugural breakfast….
