Will Cavan is 
a long-standing figure in the international produce industry, known for his work in forming and leading trade associations for tropical fruits. His career spans decades and includes executive positions with organizations focused on mangoes and pineapples, as well as work as a produce sourcing consultant. 
Key aspects of Will Cavan's career in agriculture:
  • Trade Association Leadership: Cavan is the founder and Executive Director of the International Mango Organization (IMO) and the International Pineapple Organization (IPO).
  • Global Recognition: The IMO, which he leads, has been recognized by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (UN/FAO).
  • International Experience: Having lived in many countries, Cavan has extensive experience in international trade. He has held positions managing import and export operations and has global relationships with growers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Podcast Host: He also hosts the AGRIMUNDO.tv podcast, which covers topics in the agricultural world.
  • Podcast co-host and guest with Patrick Kelly. India: Mangoes It’s probably not a huge surprise that India takes the top spot on the list of the world’s biggest mango producers — the tropical fruit is native to the region and accounts for  50%  of the world supply.  But what you might not know is that mangoes from India only became an export available to the U.S. in the late aughts, when President George W.
